The most famous mine in Gules, Pitch Mine tunnels over fifty feet below the ground in search of precious metals. In the past, it has been the safest of all the mines (others were often plagued by toxic fumes), and thus has been the most frequently used.

Tourmaline
Named for the type of gem primarily found beneath its grounds, Tourmaline is through-and-through a mining city. It's filled with blue-collar workers despite its wealthy reputation. Most of the gems and metals found here are shipped to Sable to create armor, weapons and jewelry.
